We are dancemakers, story tellers, and thinkers, seeking to raise the profile of modern dance in D.C. Through collaboration and performance, we challenge our bodies and minds to create meaningful art that evokes emotion and makes audiences think. We value a collective process that draws together people from diverse artistic backgrounds. We are Glade Dance Collective.
The NACHMO DC Sampler Showcase presents a selection of local choreographers who have created a new work in one month during the 2024 NACHMO DC January Challenge. Presented as part of the Atlas Performing Arts Center’s INTERSECTIONS Festival.
Informal showings of all pieces created during NACHMO DC 2024. Friends & family of choreographers and dancers are invited to attend the showing(s) of their choosing.
This is an opportunity for dancers to connect with choreographers looking for performers. You must register to attend the audition. Masks are required for attendance.
Join Glade Dance Collective for a performance of new dance works from local DC artists. This show serves as a culmination of Glade’s year-long In the Lab series of shows at Atlas Performing Arts Center, showcasing new works-in-progress by Glade members and other choreographers from throughout the DC dance community. Glade will be showing new work alongside Sarah Beth Oppenheim for Heart Stück Bernie, Raeanna “Rae” Gray, Chloé Richier, and Drew Scammell.
